Job Description: 
Verify that the outpatient prescriptions are appropriate, safe, and free of errors for the specific patient. 
• Verifies the accuracy of prescriptions written by doctors or other authorised prescribers and ascertains necessary formulas and substances.
• Keep an eye on everything that gets posted to the patient profiles so that issues with incompatibilities, drug allergies, interactions, redundant therapy, and sensible medication therapy can be identified and improved patient care may be provided. 
• Provide all facets of patient care in a setting that maximises patient safety and lowers the possibility of mistakes in medicine or other health care. 
• Educate doctors, nurses, patients, and other medical workers about the proper use of drugs, dose, storage, interactions, and side effects. 
• Help with departmental, medical, nursing, and community education programmes. 
• Make sure that the tools and supplies in the work areas are kept up to date and functioning properly. 
• Recognise that dosages differ for neonatal, paediatric, adult, and elderly patients, and know where to look for the right information.
• Show dignity and respect to patients and their families determines and attends to the patients' and their families' psychosocial, cultural, racial, and spiritual requirements. 
• Help with special assignments for the Chief of Pharmaceutical Services. 
• Help the Chief of Pharmaceutical Services with duties in compliance with the organization's mission, policy, and any applicable legislation.
• Exhibit proficiency in utilising mathematical processes for tasks including data analysis, pharmaceutical preparation development, and dose calculations.
• Show that you can handle a number of abstract variables and understand a wide range of technical instructions. 
• Respond to inquiries on medications from the public, other hospitals, and the hospital itself. 
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of insurance providers.
